*Maximum displayable wind speed decreases as the length of the cable increases. At 140' (43 m) or cable, the maximum speed displayed is 135 mph (60 m/s). At 240' (73 m), maximum speed is 100 mph (45 m/s). The accuracy of the reading below the maximum is not affected.
