Temp/Humidity sensor arrived as promised.

Works as expected

Great product. I've been using it as a screen for projection. I love this!

It'll take some getting used to, but overall I like it. I do have one thought/question/suggestion. When the inner tube overflows into the outer chamber, could the outer chamber be accurately marked so that you could see the over 1" amount without having to pour from the outer container to the small tube?

The new weather station setup flawlessly. It is replacing a previous Vantage Pro2 station whose electronics simply starting failing. the old station was 12-13 years old. I like the new weatherlink console as it is very informative and easy to modify.

My humidity readings were down to 1% and I realized that it should have read around 85%. Ordered replacement part from Scientific and received it 5 days later. easy install. Readings are now accurate.

After not receiving a call back from Davis Instruments about their Pro Vantage Wireless Pro2 weather station, i discovered Scientific Sales was an authorized seller and contacted them. Pete answered my questions and gave me excellent feedback and suggestions so I would be able to provide AC power to the station.
Having solar is a very nice option during the summer, but AC allows me to track the temperature and the wind during those several weeks without adequate sun, especially when monitoring for wind chill and potential freeze damage to our crop.

The assembly and installation instructions were easy to follow. Watching YouTube videos helped find a proper location and made sure we had an anchored post for the installation. The day after installing the station, a thunderstorm came through and we were able to get an accurate rainfall reading. There is no lightening strike indicator, which would have been a usable, additional feature. Maybe future models will have the ability to track strikes especially because of our experience with lightening caused fires. At this point, the station is working well and seems to be well-designed and sturdy. Fingers crossed on whether or not we can depend on Davis support for any technical glitch that may occur.

This gauge is easy to assemble and mount, and accurate to 1/10". What's not to love? It's also one of the cheapest approved for the CoCoRah program if you're interested in participating in that. The heavy plastic should hold up well for years of service.
