I've been looking for a brush to clean the rain gauge for a long time and now I found one to do the job.

I bought my first Davis 6242 weather station back in 2008. It is still working. This new Davis 6242 Vantage Vue Wireless Weather Station w/ WeatherLink Console I have bought for my daughter's house so that she and I can see what the weather conditions are at her house. Was the perfect replacement fit for my weather station

I had this complete setup from years ago. I believe the solar panel on my old sensor suite went bad and I couldn't find a replacement. Since I suspected the bearings in the anemometer were going bad as well I decided to just replace the whole sensor suite. The mount for the anemometer was missing, so I reused the one from my old system. I got everything up and running and my old console and data logger immediately recognized the new sensor suite. I'm glad to be back up and running again.

Works as advertised. my old station is new again.
