Serial or Ethernet connection: Connect directly to weather station with serial port or connect to a Weather MicroServer over a network utilizing an existing Ethernet infrastructure -- no extra wiring. The MicroServer configuration also allows for data from one weather station to be monitored from multiple display consoles at various locations.
As a serial device, the Weather Display console is recommended for stand-alone monitoring to operate independently of a computer or network, whether for network security or practicality such as mobile weather monitoring.
As a network device, the Weather Display directly offers browser dashboards and interface options for Weather Underground and CWS Cloud Weather Server to upload data automatically for Internet accessibility.
Compatible with all CWS weather stations, the Weather Display is popular in mobile command vehicles, space research, oil, broadcasting, visitor centers, and military applications, with customers including NASA, Boeing, Farber Specialty Vehicles, CBS TV, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
The standard dashboard can be customized to meet specialized market and industry requirements.
