The wireless Vantage Pro2 Plus is a research-grade weather station that includes all the features of the Vantage Pro2, plus UV and solar radiation sensors. The Vantage Pro2 Plus provides accurate and reliable weather monitoring with real-time data updates every 2.5 seconds. The outside temperature and humidity sensors are housed in a 24-hour Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield for maximum accuracy. The sensor suite also reports wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall.

Only reason for 4 star rating is because there was a delay in shipping from the OEM due to a beginning of new year inventory shortage. Excellent pricing. Weather station arrived in factory condition. Packaging was super! Station was very easy to install and get up and running. Very straight forward instructions. Wireless connection works great. I mounted the unit on a 10 foot pole and is located approx. 100 feet from the WeatherLink console inside our home. Very comforting to have an accurate and reliable weather station.

Tom was super communicative and prompt

The kit was actually back ordered and he personally called me to explain the situation. I was unavailable to actually speak with him on the phone but he left an informed message and let me know the delay. I felt confident that he was doing everything that he could considering the circumstances. When the factory was able to send my order, it showed up a lot faster than I anticipated.

Top of the line product

My old Davis sensor unit I bought back in 2006 started to have issues so I purchased a new Pro 2 unit. It arrived very well packed into one box. Installation was as easy as changing out my old one for the new one. Even my old console connected immediately to the new sensor and I maintain all my 18 years of data on it. I am now broadcasting to the weather underground and using my own station on my Rachio sprinkler system. Love this brand of weather stations. They are the best out there.
