These Davis UV Sensors have a multi-layer filter which provides a spectral response that closely matches the Erythema Action Spectrum. Davis 6490 features a diffuser that provides excellent cosine response. Two-piece housing minimizes radiation heating, allows convection cooling of the sensor, and prevents the trapping of water or dust. To mount next to a rain collector, add our Sensor Mounting Shelf (not included).
