The Certified Hygrometer Model HTAB-176 is certified to be accurate within ± 3% RH. The dial indicates the complete range of 0 to 100% relative humidity. Each instrument has been tested at three different positions of the dial at temperatures ranging from 32 to 230 F. The calibration and certification are done under ISO-9001 control. The bi-metallic thermometer on the model HTAB-176 is accurate to ±1% of scale with a range of -20 to 100 Centigrade and 0 to 210 Fahrenheit. Graduations are 1 degree for Centigrade, 2 degress for Fahrenheit and 1% RH.

This is the only humidity indicator that we know of that has a 1-year guarantee and a 5-year warranty. Some of our humidity indicators working on the same principle as this instrument have been in use for over 10 years and are giving satisfactory service day after day, month after month, and year after year.

Both the humidity and temperature are directly read without any calculations whatsoever. Solid 6-inch overall brass case drilled for wall mounting. Shipping weight: 3 pounds. The thermometer humidity meter is a color differentiated 5-inch dial with black letters, black numbers, and a red pointer.

Was hesitant about buying because of the great price.
Talked to Tom @ Scientific Sales INC. and  he reassured me that it was first quality. Once received Tom was true to his word. With assistance from Abbeon Cal Inc. I was able to recalibrate my older Hygrometer and Temperature wall mount guage from Lufft by using the new one. I will be back if I need another.

I work at home in an air-tight house. It is important to monitor the quality of the air I breath all day. I have several hygrometers, and they often give different readings. I wanted a precise instrument and found it with the HTAB-176. Now I know how to adjust the readings on all the other indicators.
